Wrapping Up before Break

It seems like everyday get busier and busier! Here are some reminders and things we are wrapping up by next Tuesday.

1. Reading groups will be reading chapter books. They are allowed to read these during their independent reading time at school and during their 20 minutes of reading at home. If they use both times wisely, they should be able to get reading assignments done.


2. We are working on character. Questions to ask while reading: Why did the character do that? What are some character traits of this character and why? What do you think the character is thinking?


3. Student council is collecting canned goods and any other goods for the holidays.


4. The Angel Tree was set up in the lounge today. Let me know if you would like an angel of the tree to buy a Christmas present for.


5. Reminder of no school on Wednesday, November 26th.
