Open House

Our first quarter open house was a success and the feedback was very much appreciated! As of right now I am looking to have another one at the end of second quarter. Perhaps on the same day as the Christmas party so parents might be able to make it to both functions in the same afternoon!

WOW!

Thank you all for an amazing open house! We were amazed by the turnout. I realize it was held during the day and most of you work, so please don't feel bad if you were unable to come...we understand! The kids were very excited to have you all in the classroom. I really hope we can make this happen at the end of each quarter. They love showing off their hard work to the people they love! I look forward to posting pictures as soon as my camera battery recharges!

Report cards come home Thursday....please let me know if you have any questions and/or concerns....we can always set up a time to meet!

Open House Reminder!

Just a reminder that tomorrow Wednesday, October 27th is our classroom's open house! I hope you can attend. You can come anytime between 2:00-3:15. Your child will use a checklist to show you around the classroom and to explain what they have been working on in class. I will also be available at this time to answer any questions you may have. If it is super busy during this time and you have concerns, please know we can schedule another time to meet.

Report cards will be sent home Thursday, October 28th. If you would like to meet to discuss your child next week, please let me know and we will try to find a time that works for both of us.

In class we did pumpkin day. First we did a craft in our own room, but then we switched to Mrs.Harris we did science In Mrs.Walls we did a pumpkin poem in Mrs.Dowtys class we did storys; a poem and read,read,read! It was fun! We even got pumpkin candy corn. We had are pumpkin day!!!! YAH!

Fall Party!!

Everyone is invited to our fall party on Thursday, October 28th from 2:30-3:15 pm. They are asking for any treat donations for the treat bags. If you are able or willing to donate treat items, please send them in by Friday, October 22nd. Thanks for all your help in making this party a great success!!

OCAS Buddy

Each year the classrooms get a OCAS Buddy from the nursing home. We send them goodies from time to time to remind them there are people who care about them! They really look forward to it every year. This year we have Charlene. She can be found in room 207 A. She is on a sugar free diet. She also enjoys music and dancing. She loves to read magazines and newspapers. Sugar free snacks, magazines, puzzles, games, decor, lotions, etc. are all great gift ideas! Please help us gather some items for Charlene! We will be sending a fall goody bag on October 27th!!

Field Trip
