Glad to see everyone here! Be sure to have your student show you around the classroom! Be in the gym by 6:30 for a great program our students have been working on....be prepared for a great performance and to learn a little about Indiana!

Reminders

HeyEveryone...parents and students!

It seems like we have a lot going on this week! I just wanted to post some reminders:

• Be sure to keep checking out the blog, remember this takes the place of the weekly newsletter!
• I have added a column to the left to let you know what is going on in math.
• I have added homework tips to the right...I will try to add a new one each week. Be sure to check it out!
• Our open house is this Thursday...I hope to see everyone there!
• No school next Monday (Labor Day)
• Kids will be bringing home permission slips for a IN History project. Be sure to return them ASAP please!

I think that is all for now, but if I think of more I will be sure to post it right away! If you have any questions about anything please feel free to post a comment, call, or email!

Announcements and Reminders

Hey Guys!

WOW! What a great start to the school year! I was so impressed by everyone's attitude and behavior when you came back to school! It was like we didn't take any time off. Everyone came in and knew right what to do. Everyone also was a great helper...whenever someone needed help I saw everyone willing to stop what they were doing and help them...thank you! I am so excited for the rest of year! We have some great field trips this year!

Open house is coming up. All fourth graders meet in the cafeteria where they will recite and perform a poem and three Indiana songs. We will practice next week and I will send home lyrics if they want. Then you will be dismissed to show your parents around our decorated classroom!

We will be sending our travel logs out hopefully towards the end of the week, so look forward to that as well!

Remember to bring back your field trip/T-shirt slip as soon as you can! Hopefully we can get our T-shirts ordered right away!

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for being super excited the news I shared with you on Friday! If your child, didn't tell you....I am pregnant :) As of now we are due
March 11, 2009! It will be one exciting year!

Last Post Until School Starts!

I can't believe we only have a little over a week! Wow..summer flies by! Well this will be my last post until school starts. I will keep checking it for comments from you guys, I just won't put anything new on.

Some reminders:

3. Address of a family friend or relative (preferably out of state, but if not that's okay also!)
