Last Day

Hey Everyone! I talked to the kids today and let them know that Monday, June 6th will by my last day of school this year. My daughter has to have eye surgery and they only schedule kids her age one Tuesday a month.....June 7th, of course! I am very bummed about missing the last day, but have found an EXCELLENT substitute that I am sure the kids will be very excited about....Miss Steffen!! They will be busy cleaning up the classroom, packing up their supplies, and enjoying some game time with their friends. They will also meet their new teacher for next year!! A very exciting and fun day!! If you have any questions, please let me know. I will hopefully have access to email all summer long :)

Field Day and Pictures

We had a GREAT Field Day! Mr. Gerber did a fabulous job planning and every student participated in every event. They were dead tired by the end of the day....and so was I! The girls played the boys in Tug of War. For awhile I thought our girls were going to pull it off, but the boys ended up winning in the end....

Our class field day picture. This was after our long morning and our lunch/break time indoors where we were able to cool off for a bit before heading back out to the fun!

This game is called Rat Race and I see why.....they are running everywhere!

We had a break time where students were allowed to play on the playground, help out in the outdoor lab, or enjoy some fun on the giant inflatable Titanic slide. Here are some pictures of everyone relaxing and just having some fun with friends.
