Young Author's Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 14th. Our guest author will be Diane Shore coming to us from Georgia. Check out her website at http://www.dianezshore.com/. Her books are fabulous! The kids can look at them in the library and an order form will be coming home as well. She will be autographing the books the kids purchase from her. We are also working on our Young Author's books....both at school and home. These are due April 14th. You can purchase a bare book in the office for $2.50. Your child must have this completed to participate in the day's activities. We will spend the day focusing on reading and writing. Students are welcome to bring in a small pillow to use during out independent reading time as well as a snack to enjoy during this time as well.
