Assignment Book Changes

In preparation for fifth grade (and the rest of their lives), we are making some assignment book expectation changes. Parent signatures will no longer be required for most of the students. Fifth grade does not require this which places more responsiblity on the student to get his or her work done on time.
The only time signatures will be required: a teacher note has been written in the assignment book or if a student has shown to have homework problems.
Students who still need to have their assignment book checked and signed each night know who they are. There is a note stapled inside each student's assignment book explaining this as well. Hopefully those students who have to have it signed will begin to prove they are ready to take on more responsiblity and not have to get it signed the rest of the year!!
If you have any questions please let me know!
Thanks!
